The Two Rivers Supervisory Unions Early Education Collaborative is a partnership between TRSU and prequalified early childhood programs. The Collaborative has been serving district preschool aged children since 2005. It's current partners include:

• As We Grow in Proctorsville

• Bambino University in Proctorsville

• Chester Community Preschool/Head Start in Chester

• Green Mountain Unified School District (Green Mountain Preschool at Cavendish Town Elementary School)

• The Little School in Weston

• Ludlow Mount Holly Unified School District
  (Ludlow Elementary School, Mount Holly School)

• Nature’s Point Preschool in Chester

• Playworks in Springfield

• Stepping Stones Preschool in Proctorsville

• Suzy's Little Peanuts in Springfield and Ascutney

• Saxtons River Montessori School in Saxtons River

• World of Discovery III in Springfield

Educational opportunities are provided through individual and interactive play experiences to support each child through developing self, communication and expression, and learning about the world.
The Collaborative is committed to working with high quality community based private providers of early education that meet high accountability standards where they are available within the school district. All three and four year olds who are residents of Andover, Baltimore, Cavendish, Chester, Ludlow, and Mt. Holly and are offered an opportunity to attend one of these programs for 10 hours weekly for 35 weeks within the school year.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Collaborative is to provide a high quality early childhood experience. Our play-based, child-led, hands-on approach to curriculum gives children the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, and academic school-readiness skills that will promote future success.
